Answer

When plants carry out photosynthesis to make food they need four things; chlorophyll, energy from the sun, carbon dioxide from the air and water from the soil. Consumers are usually animals. Consumers cannot make their own food, so they have to eat other organisms. They can be classified into three main groups.
