Co-operatives plays an important role in food security in india.They set up small shops within the country and provide food at low price under checkup of F.S.S.A.I department.For eg- Amul is a Co- operatives unit of Gujarat, they sell their Milk products within country at low price.Another is , Mother Diary at Delhi and prices of fodd items are decided by Delhi government
