Minerals occur in igneous and metamorphic rocks in forms of veins and lodes.

There are cracks ,crevices, faults or joints in minerals are found.

The smaller occurrences are called veins and larger are called lodes.

HEY buddy......!! here is ur answer,

Minerals generally occurs in igneous and metamorphic rock : In igneous and metamorphic rocks, minerals may occur in the cracks, crevices, faults and joints. The smaller occurrences are called veins and the larger one are called the Iodes. In most of the cases, they are formed when minerals in liquid/molten and gaseous forms are forced upwards through cavities towards the earth’s surface. They cool and solidify as they rise. Major metallic minerals like tin, copper, zinc and lead etc. are obtained from veins and lodes.

I hope it will be helpful for you..!!
