Animals give out carbon dioxide when they take in oxygen which they get it from plants. The carbon dioxide is then used by Plants for photosynthesis and thus they get food.
Plants are also dependent as the animals are a factor responsible for cross pollination as the animals eat the fruit and drop the seeds while they walk or through the excretion the seeds are out and thus gets pollinated.
That is the reason Plants and animals are dependent on each other
