they have a hormone called auxin.
Just imagine the following:
You have a plant inside your home kept near the window.
It is 12 00 noon and the sun is shining brightly.
let the right part of the plant is touching the windows that is receiving maximum sunlight.
The left part is not receiving much light.
Aux in has the property to accumulate in shades.
So more auxin gets accumulated over the left of plant causing faster growth in the left part than in Right making the plant to bend towards the right.

Hope u got that.

smartaartigupta22: what
Anas05448: ur teacher told that at the tip of the plant when auxin gets light then it promotes the growth towards that part by growing over there
Anas05448: ???
smartaartigupta22: yes
smartaartigupta22: something like this
Anas05448: try to understand the concept
Anas05448: imagine u have a big tea
Anas05448: lime this T
smartaartigupta22: thanks you
Anas05448: The light is coming from left, the auxin accumulates over the right and cause the plant to grow faster in the right than left which results that the bet growth is towards left
