water and minerals are absorbed by roots and then it transfer to leaves by pipe like structure in stem called xylem.

then food transfer to parts of plant. this tube like structure is called phloem.

remaining gases, water and minerals for food is converted into gas and evaporate in air. this process is called transpiration.
