Explanation:

As changes happen in the polar regions, they are carried around the world by ocean currents, both at the surface and in the deep ocean. These currents are driven by winds, ocean temperature and salinity differences, and are efficient at distributing heat and carbon around the globe.

Answer:

As changes happen in the polar regions, they are carried around the world by ocean currents, both at the surface and in the deep ocean. These currents are driven by winds, ocean temperature and salinity differences, and are efficient at distributing heat and carbon around the globe. And if the ice is melting like of Antarctica then it's a big threat because the bright surface of the ice acts as a reflector for the sun, keeping the planet cool. . The more ice that melts, the less there will be to reflect the sun, and so the warmer it will become, thus temperatures to rise higher and faster, in an ever decreasing circle.
