Federalism is actually a mixture of government which includes the general or central government with regional government.

Democracy is a governmental system where citizens have the right to choose their own government by voting.

Now both regional and state political parties work and do their best to help common people and work in favor of them. They also contribute in terms of democracy and federalism.

Both the parties provide multiple choice to the common people in terms of different agendas and separate issues.

They both help by sharing the power of government.

They both give platform to different social group to come forward and pit forth their demand.
