The root nodules of leguminous plants, such as pea, have Rhizobium bacteria. The too exhibit symbiotic relationship. Rhizobium takes up the atmospheric nitrogen and converts it into nitrogenous compounds. These nitrogenous compounds are utilized by the legume plants. Plants,in turn give shelter and nutrients to the Rhizobium bacteria.
