Saphropytes consume the dead and decaying matter and thus clean the environment.

Hence, by cleaning the environment, they does not contribute to soil pollution and bad odours.

Hey buddy.... here's your answer

Saprotrophs are organisms which depend on dead and decaying matter such as fungi, mushrooms, etc.

They consume the dead and decaying matter thus cleaning the environment.

This helps in the enrichment of soil as it doesn't cause pollution and improves the soil quality.

Hope this was helpful
