Hi,
Stars are the farthest objects in space. So their light also takes much more time to reach our eye. When the rays start their journey it ripples due to the ups ans downs of the atmosphere. So the light first falls at the deaf point of our eye. So we don't see the light. Then it falls on the ratina. And we can see it. And it happens so fast that we think stars are twinkling. But THEY actually don't.
Hope you like it.
