If the concentration level of CO2 and water is higher in an external environment than that inside the cell, water and co2 moves inside and in case if their concentration level is low, they move outside.

co2 nd o2 are both molecules that can move across cell membranes through simple diffusion. At the same time, carbon dioxide molecules diffuse rapidly out of the red blood cells, down their concentration gradient, and into your lungs.
