Answer: terrestial plants grows on land and so need water more than the marine plants require as marine plants grow under water so their water requirement is less as transpiration occur at a slow rate so there less wastage of water but on land due to the heat of sun they need more water as much water gets evaporated from the leaves due to the process of transpiration.
