How do the people of tundra get sunlight during winter

In Tundra, the natural resources are scarce in nature including light and heat. In a location like these, they use the warmth of the ground such as mosses and lichens, they wear something dark to absorb most of the sunlight and also harness the energy of the sun to put in the utilization later.
