Explanation:

Respiration is the breakdown of glucose with the help of energy.During breathing we breathe in air containing oxygen. The air we breathe in is transported to all parts of the body and ultimately to each cells. In the cells oxygen helps in the breakdown of food, called cellular respiration. In the cell the food is broken down with the help of oxygen called aerobic respiration. this is the way living organisms respire.

Respiratory organs:

  • External nostrils
  • nasal passage
  • pharynx
  • trachea (windpipe )
  • Bronchus
  • Alveolus
  • Lungs

Answer:

Respiration is the biochemical process in which the cells of an organism obtain energy by combining oxygen and glucose, resulting in the release of carbon dioxide, water, and ATP (the currency of energy in cells). ... Note the number of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water molecules involved in each 'turn' of the process.
