let the two numbers be X and Y
sum of two numbers is 20
x+y=20...(1)
difference between two numbers is 4
x-y=4......(2)
then x=4+y
putting the value of x in eq 1
4+y+y=20
y=8
then x =16
hence two natural numbers are 16 and 4
