Answer:

The distributive property tells us to solve expressions in the form of a(b +c)=a.b+a.c.

The distributive property is also called the distributive law of multiplication.

Now, to write 32,098 using Distributive Property.

32,098 =2\cdot(16000+49) = 2\cdot 16000 + 2\cdot 49

Check:

2\cdot (16000+49)=2\cdot(16049)=32,098

and 2\cdot 16000+2\cdot 49=32000+98 = 32,098

we got the same answers with both approaches!

therefore,  we can write 32,098 as 2 \cdot (16000+49) = 2 \cdot 16000 + 2 \cdot 49.
