How do traits get expressed?

Presence of genes on chromose in male and female gametes, together decide which trait will be expressed in the progeny.

Traits or characteristics, which are passed on from parents to their offspring generation to generation r controlled by genes. Due to the difference in genetic makeup human populations show a great deal of variations in expressions of various traits. Eg.. Height, skin colour, shape of nose, etc...
