The energy we need for survival comes from Nutrition , In take of nutrients.

Our Food provides us with enough energy to survive. The food we eat is digested and converted to energy.

This Energy is forwarded to animals by First level, Producers are plants. They absorb sunlight, water in the presence of Green coloured pigment chlorophyll, the photosynthesis occurs. Energy is produced.

Next, This plants are eaten by Primary Consumers then, They are eaten by Secondary consumers. Like wise, Energy is transferred from one level to other level through food chain which Maintains the ecological balance.

Draxillus: nice answer bhaiya but u related it into how we obtain source of energy
HappiestWriter012: The basic answer for the question is food or you can say nutrition, Just for extra knowledge we add more info
Draxillus: okay

Heya!!

we obtain energy from the food that we eat. This food when engulfed by us is broken down by the action of oxygen to give energy.

Broadly, process of getting energy is gained by some process :-

****** NUTRITION *******

the process of taking food materials inside the body and to use it for growth, maintenance and repairing of the body is called nutrition.

there are two types of nutrition :-

#AUTOTROPHIC NUTRITION :-Process of making food in the presence of compounds like water and carbon dioxide.
Ex :- Plants.

#HETEROTROPHIC NUTRITION :-using food made by plants .
Ex:- Human Beings.

***** RESPIRATION ******

it is a process by which living organisms obtain energy by breaking down of complex organic compound.

Ex:-we gain energy by breakdown of glucose in the presence of oxygen.

***** TRANSPORTATION *****

it involves movement of food materials by blood to energy deficient spots.

Thus,in this way,we get energy .
