2a+4+ap+2p = 2(a+2)+p(a+2) =(a+2)(2+p) These are two factors (a+2) and (2+p)

2a+4+ap+2p
make pair of two terms 2a+4 and ap+2p
=common factor of the pairs
=2[a+2]+p[a+2}
=[a+2][2+p]
So the factors are [a+2] and [2+p]
hope it would be helpful
