When the ‘sun is directly overhead’ we can feel there is absence of shadow and increase in heat.

Explanation:

  • This is because when an object is lying erect on the ground the shadow produced by the son of the body lies just below the body of the person full stop in the person is unable to see the shadow.
  • Secondly there is an increase in the heat when the sun is directly overhead this is because the perpendicular ‘rays of the sun’ produce more heat than the ‘oblique rays of the Sun’.
