maybe my answer is wrong but I think that there are types of photoreceptors in our eyes of different color that's why we can see colours and Red rose red.

Hi,
The above question is well known to us.It is that we see red rose red.The all colors in the rainbow that are VIBGYOR,visible to us but only red color makes us to visible as the rose is red.This is due to scattering of only red light which reaches us.
