Two sulphide ores can be separated by adjusting proportion of oil to water or by using depressants.
For example in case of an ore cotaining ZnS and PbS , the depressant NaCl is used .
It forms complex with ZnS and prevents its coming with forth , but PbS remains with forth and can be separated .
