Sulfuric acid = H2SO4
Atomic weight...
H=1 gram/mole
S=32 gram/mole
O=16 gram/mole
Molecular weight of H2SO4
=2(H)+1(S)+4(O)
=2(1)+1(32)+4(16)
=2+32+64
=98 grams/mole
%Sulfur × Molecular weight = mass of sulfur × 100
%S = 3200÷98
%S = 32.65%
