how do you describe the use of antioxidants in preventing food material from spoiling​

  • Antioxidants help us to protect our food by totally stopping or minimizing the time of oxidation , as we know during oxidation bacteria grow extremely faster and lead to food spoilage which can even cause food poisoning. Therefore antioxidants prevent the oxygen from reacting with food and causing spoilage.
