how do you differentiate a material as biodegradable from non biodegradable?

biodegradable material are soluble in nature and get mixed in soil

non biodegradable material are insoluble in nature and doesn't get mixed in the soil.

⭕they are ️eco friendly

⭕it ️improves soil fertility.

⭕️it's useful as it changes into fossil fuel

⭕it ️does not affect the rain water from reaching the ground water level.

eg:-vegetable peels.
