How do you factor (r+s)(s+t)-(r+s)(s-t)+(r+s)(s+t)?

Solution:

(r+s)(s+t)-(r+s)(s-t)+(r+s)(s+t)

Take (r+s) common, we get

= (r+s)[s+t-(s-t)+s+t]

= (r+s)[s+t-s+t+s+t]

=(r+s)(3t+s)
