How do you factorise polynomials of the form
ax3 + bx2 + cx + d ?

ax3+bx2+cx+d
=x(a3+b3+x)+d

To factorise such polynomials follow the steps below
1-Find all the factors of the constant term .
2-Find the factor which is a zero of the polynomial.
3-If suppose -1 is a zero then divide the polynomial by x+1 .
4-After you get the quotient factorise it by splitting the middle term.
5-At the end the factorised polynomial is the divisor you took in step 3 *  the the answer you get in step 4 .
