How do you find b in pythagorean theorem given a=3, c=4?

let us considered b is hypototenus side and a is the base and c is the perpendicular..

  • hypotenus= √base square + perpendicular square

b*2= 3*2 +4*2

b*2=9+16

b*2= 25

b= √25

b=5
