How do you find h(x−4) given h(x)=x2−x?

Solution:

Given h(x) = x² - x

Now,

h(x-4) = (x-4)² - (x-4)

=x²+4²-2*x*4-x+4

= x²+16-8x-x+4

= x²-8x-x+16+4

= x²-9x+20

Therefore,

h(x-4) = x²-9x+20
