How do you find the greatest common factor for the list of terms 70x2,30x6,60x9?

See,

70*2 = 2*2*5*7..

30*6 = 2*2*3*3*5..

60*9 = 2*2*3*3*3*5..

I did nothing in this step but did the prime factorisation of all the given terms....

Now I will take out the common factors of all the terms and then multiply them in order to get their largest common factor....

Or in simple words..

HCF(highest common factor)= product of all the common factors with their lowest power....

So HCF of given numbers = 2*2*5=20
