Ali was an old coachman ..he has been going to the post office from the last 5 years in hope of a letter from his daughter Miriam who had been married ....he used to come daily from last five years and hence he was a familiar figure.

Ali went to the post office dialy.
He was the first one to be there,people knew him and laughed at him,called out his name and enjoyed seeing his jump.
