When a base(sodium hydroxide) reacts with a salt solution such as FeCl3 form its respective basic hydroxide
Base + Salt → hydroxide + Normal
solution (basic) salt
3 NaOH + FeCl3 → Fe(OH)3 + 3 NaCl
Base + Salt → hydroxide + Normal
