How do you solve the system x=2y+6 and 3x = -2y + 10?

3x=-2y+10..........(2)

Substituting the value of x in (2),

3(2y+6)=-2y+10

6y+18=-2y+10

8y+8=0

8y=-8

Substituting the value of y in (1),

x=2y+6

x=2x-1+6

x=-2+6=4

Hence , I found the values of x & y through substitution method.
