Density of a liquid is directly proportional to its pressure. If the density increases then the pressure also increases.
For example Mercury exerts much more pressure than water. That's why carrying mercury is impossible whereas we are habituated with carrying water.

density is directly proptional to pressure that is why when pressure increases density increases an when pressure decreases density decreases.
