A very interesting question. sociology is the kind of social science that is important for anybody in order to be more aware of oneself and surroundings. Knowing how societies are formed, what effects it has on individuals and what makes societies great is a question everyone should ponder upon.
Anybody who wants to bring about a revolution whether big or small is required to first study some sociology.
Any influential person or leader who knows sociology and its philosophies can govern better.
