how do you think the brightness of two lamps arranged in parallel compare with the brightness of the lamps arranged in series (both having one cell)

If two lamps are connected in parallel the effective resistance is low and POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE REMAINS THE SAME whereas in series POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE IS DIVIDED due to which lamp glows bright in parallel and dim in series..,
