Simply apply the definition of Modulus function...

g (x) = { + ( 2 + x ) - 1 , 2 + x >= 0

- ( 2 + x ) - 1 , 2 + x < 0

g ( x ) = { 2 + x - 1 , x >= -2

-2 - x - 1 , x < - 2

g ( x ) = { x + 1 , x >= - 2

- x - 3 , x < - 2

Hope this help....
