= x^3 + 7x^2 + 10x

now first step is to multiply the coefficients of x^3 and x........which is 10.

now we have to make 2 factors of 7 such that their addition is 7 and product is 10.

the factors will be 5 and 2.

now coming to the equation ....

= x^3 + 5x^2 + 2x^2 + 10x

= x^2 ( x+5) + 2x(x+5)

= (x+5) (x^2 + 2x)

= (x+5) { x (x+2)}

= (x+5) (x) (x+2)

arrange the factors....

= x (x+2) (x+5)

hope it helps you ....
