Anne's close friend is Hanneli and she described her that it was the last time that she was seeing her alive when she met her at the Belsen camp. ... When Frank's family inquired about Anne, Hanneli told that their family was sent to the concentration camps and she felt home sick and desperate to speak.

Explanation:

Anne Frank had grown quite thin and weak due to poor food given at the Belsen detention camp.

She spoke quite less and kept to herself. Her eyes had a strange stare which told about her broken dreams and her aspirations which got crushed due to the cruel Germans.

She was quite sad and depressed. Her face had lost its shine which was present when she was at home. It looked like Death was waiting for her and she could do nothing to save herself.

hope it helped you!!!:)
