Working of Computer:

  • A computer is a machine or hardware that receives and processes the incoming data.
  • Based on the instructions given to it, and after the data has been processed, the results of the processing are sent to an output device.
  • The output devices can be a screen (monitor), printer, plotter, speakers, ports, or another computer.

Input:

  • These are the instructions given to the computer using devices like the keyboard, mouse, and joystick.

Process:

  • The instruction given through the input device is then sent to the CPU for Processing.CPU which is the central processing unit analyses the instruction, processes them and sends it to the output device or to the storage device as per the user instructions.

Output:

  • After processing the data is displayed on the output device like the monitor and printer.

Store:

  • The information is stored in the hard disk, which is a permanent storage device, unlike the RAM which stores the data till the computer is on.
