-Stars are huge ball of fire.They have various gases present in them which fuse together and emit light and heat.
-when various stars are present in a particular pattern and resemble a particular shape then we call these stars to be in a constellation.Example of some const.are- orion, ursa major,ursa minor etc.

Constellations are groups of stars which have been designated as representing a particular figure in the sky.eg ursa major, orion etc.
