its because of momentum.when he tries to break a tile he create a very fast momentum on his hand

to break a pole of tiles a kung fu master uses a specific technique. mainly the tiles are broken on the basis of momentum. if the momentum will increase then the number of tiles broke will also increase.
here's a formula...
P = m×v
P.....momentum.
M....mass.
v....velocity.
=> P is directly proportional to mass of the body.
=> P is directly proportional to velocity.
to break a pile of tiles he brings his hand from height and brings his whole body down to break tiles.
the main thing due to which he is able to break a pile of tiles is large momentum created by him by bringing his whole body down. by doing this he increases mass as well as the velocity. now both the quantities are directly proportional to P so P increase automatically and a large momentum is created by him.
