a nerve cell receives senses from the axon of the preceeding cell .The nerve cell takes this senses through the dendrites of the dendrons .This sense is passed to cyton and the to axon.From the axon it is passed to the succeeding dendrites through axon terminal.
These are the functions of nerve cell.
