Answer:Plants bend toward light because hormones called auxins accumulate on the darker side of the stem and cause the cells in the dark to become longer. When one side of the plant gets longer, it pushes the plant in a new direction. Since the cells on the light side stay the same size, and the ones on the dark side get longer, the plant bends toward the light. Like if you are using a wheelchair and hold one wheel while turning the other, to make the wheelchair turn.

If we keep a plant in a room only with one window and supply it with water we observe that the part receiving the light will bend towards the window. So plant will bend towards the source of light that is sun.
