- As we know that when the moon gets between Earth and the sun a solar eclipse occurs, a solar eclipse occurs when the moon casts a shadow over Earth.
- At the phase of the new moon, a solar eclipse can only take place when the moon passes directly between the Earth and the sun, its shadows fall upon Earth's surface.
- The total solar eclipses are only visible from less than half a percent of the Earth's surface, it occurs once every one to two years.
