When attacking its victim, the starfish arches over it and clams a couple of arms onto each side. It then pulls with great strength and stamina.As the two parts of the mollusc's shell begin to gape,thestarfish turns into stomach Inside Out ,through its mouth and into the gap in the shell.It then begins to digest the prey's flesh. Eventually,the shell opens wide and the starfish completes its meal.

Starfish pops out its stomach through its mouth to eat the soft material of those animals which are covered by hard shell of calcium carbonate
