How does air polluted with particulate matter affect human beings ?

it causes lung cancer
air pollution also cause cancer,ashtma etc...

The SPM or Suspended Particulate Matter gets in through our nostrils and enters lungs thus occupying surface area and reducing surface area for absorption of oxygen.
