Why is respiration important for survival of plants? Given account of the process of respirstion in plants and mention any one difference between respiration in plant and animals.

Respiration is important in plants so as to break down the ATP (which is a energy currency) molecules present after the photosynthesis process. this ATP is further reputed to carry out the day to day functions such as transporting food materials,water etc..
Difference(Plants)
They respire through the stomatal opening present under the leaves
They respire through diffusion.
Difference (Animals)
They respire through nostrils
They use lungs for respiration..
