AIR RESISTANCE IS KIND OF SAME AS FRICTON. THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT IT ACTS ONLY ON THOSE OBJECTS WHICH HAVE VERTICAL MOTION.

Air effect an object in various ways. Due to air pollution acid rain formed and due to acid rain the harmful gases like:sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide causes 'marble cancer' which seriously harm the marbel which an object. The yellowing of the marbel of the  Taj Mahal is an example of marbel cancer
